"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

As far as OC's go, just so long as they don't infringe on anyone's copyrights, feel free to go wild! Please keep it within a reasonable pg-13 rating, though.
The rules for entries are in the journal. Entries can be prose, a series of illustrations, or a comic; sculptures are acceptable as well. No poetry please. The first entry has to have your character(s) interacting with an NPC (I will continue to update the NPC character sheets) and briefly introducing your character(s) personality/ies. Also, include full color character reference sheets with your initial entry. Links to your entry materials should be sent in a note to or .
After Sept. 15, there will be no more entries accepted and the bounty hunt begins.
